    The Delta Petroleum Private Limited Company (DPPLC) is a registered and
    licensed standard petroleum supplier incorporated in July 2018. The Head
    Office is located in Dashen Building in front of Lideta Church – Addis Ababa,
    Ethiopia.
    DELTA Petroleum PLC ensures that all customers receive first class
    treatment whenever they visit our Fuel Court.

    dealers/customers are:
    •Automotive Fuels Retailing (e.g. diesel fuel, Kerosene and gasoline).
    •Automotive and Industrial Lubricants, greases, coolants and
    specialty fluids.
    •Distribution of Automotive-related goods.
    •Asphalt materials.
    •Providing Related Profit Centers
    o Automotive services (e.g. repairs, Wheel Alignment, Car Wash,
    Wheel Balancing Services and general parts).
    o Retailing of Groceries, Cafeterias, Restaurants, Bars, Hot and soft
    drinks.
    o Providing Super Markets and convenience store service.

    DELTA Petroleum is to become the leading Petroleum business in cities
    where our chain of Gas Station are located. Hence the need for us to build
    a solid business foundation and business structure that will enable the
    achievement of our aims and objectives.
    Excellent customer service and efficiency are top priority; hence we will
    ensure that we look for applicants that match the picture of the business
    and infrastructure ready before partnering with them.
    In essence, we want to build a strong team and dedicated workforce; that
    will work together for the organization in achieving its set targets. The hired
    manpower will supervise Fuel Retailing and will also manage the
    convenience store business.
  • Location of Delta Petroleum PLC and it’s Service Stations:Delta Petroleum PLC has it’s head office in Addis Ababa. The company has
    constructed it’s depot at Semera and will construct another depot in Amhara
    Regional state during its first five years of operation. The company has already
    carefully identified strategic cities, towns and locations at which its service
    stations are going to be build. As a strategy, Delta Petroleum PLC will focus
    to optimally invest in trade areas with significant traffic flow and locations,
    which are convenient and accessible for motorists. In addition to the traditional
    channel of providing service solely through service stations, the company will
    also introduce its unique channel to provide service by getting much closer to
    end users. It has started its operation with company owned stations at Gilgel
    Beles, Semera and Addis Ababa. It has 7 dealer owned operational stations in
    Amhara Regional states in Debre Tabor, Jiga, Ambagiorgis, Arbgebeya,
    Kosober Bahiradar, Tilili, Bure, Merawi and Finoteselam. It has also started
    operations at new stations in Modjo, Koyefeche, Akaki, Ayertena and
    Hawassa. Currently and the past 1 year Delta Stood 9th in the market share
    among the 30 companies.
  • Marketing and Sales Strategy :-The marketing strategy for Delta Petroleum is going to be driven basically by
    making available standardized and safe Gasoline, Diesel, Automotive &
    Industrial Lubricants and other excellent customer service and provision of
    value added services. We will work hard to build a loyal customer base;
    customers that will always patronize us over and over again and as well help
    us by positive word of mouth; to get their friends and associate to support us.
    In view of that, we are going to adopt the following strategies to ensure that we
    do not only attract customers but ensure that they will become our loyal
    customer.Parts of the marketing and sales strategies that we will adopt are;
    •Introduce our Petroleum by sending introductory letters to residents,
    transport companies, merchants and other stakeholders both in Addis Ababa and
    in other cities.
    •Open our Petroleum with a party so as to capture the attention of residence
    that is our first targets.
    •Advertise our Petroleum on national dailies, newsletters, TV stations and
    radio station.
    •Promote our Petroleum online via our official website and all available social
    media platforms.
    •Place adverts on both print (community based newspapers and magazines)
    and electronic media platforms.
    •Sponsor relevant community programs.
    •Leverage on the internet Website and social media platforms like;
    Instagram, Telegram, Viber, Facebook, Linked In, twitter, etc to promote our brand.
    •Install our Bill Boards on strategic locations and all around major cities in
    Ethiopia where our dealer Gas Stations are available.
    •Distribute our handouts and handbills in target areas.
    •Position our Flexi Banners at strategic positions in the location where we
    intend getting customers to start patronizing our products and services.
    •Ensure that all our staff members wear our customized clothes, and all our
    official cars, fuel tankers and trucks are customized and well branded.
